8 STYLING TIPS FOR WOMEN TO UPGRADE YOUR LOOK

Between balancing career, family, and finding time for ourselves, stepping out the door with style every day might seem impossible—but it is not! After years of personal shopping for hundreds of people, I can tell you that it is very easy for a woman to upgrade your look and also improve her personal style.

Although staying effortlessly stylish is a skill that can be difficult to master, I will share simple tips below that will upgrade your look from basic to elegant in just a matter of seconds.

Styling Tips to Upgrade Your Look

Whether you’re headed to work, have a family dinner, or even to Sunday brunch, these tips are sure to make you feel like the confident and gorgeous woman you already are.

  1. Invest in Styles for Your Shape

Every woman must have an endless supply of outfits and also invest in styles that work for their body shape. It’s not uncommon for women to buy dresses in a size too small as an incentive to lose weight or because the dress comes at a cheap price. However, if you want to look fabulous, stick to dresses made for your shape so you can be comfortable in them.

2. Have a Stylish Inspiration

Another tip is to discover style gurus on Instagram who inspires you. You can upgrade your look by using these Instagram stylists as inspiration.

3. Do Your Hair More

Girl, honestly, when it comes to upgrading your look, your hair should not be an afterthought. Imagine if a well-dressed man doesn’t groom his facial hair before a date with you. Although they still look fabulous; however, it will seem like there is something off when you are with them.

I am not saying you need to look like a coiffed model every day. What you should do is at least make an effort with your hair.

4. Hem Your Pants for a Shoe Height

The biggest mistake most women make is wearing pants that are not the right length for their shoes. To look stylish, the hems of your pants should be from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch off the floor and should graze the top of your shoes.

5. Stop Shopping For Just One Occasion

We are all guilty of shopping for a special occasion and rarely wearing the dress after that event. To avoid this, opt for simple and more classic dresses you’ll be able to wear at all times.

If you accessorize the dress cleverly, it will never feel like you are repeating the same outfit. Doing this will not only upgrade your look but also help save your money.

6. Clear Your Wardrobe

Learning how to clear out your wardrobe is extremely important. When you declutter your wardrobe, you will notice the dresses you lack and clothes to purchase when next you go shopping.

7. Discover New Brands

Most women find it hard to upgrade their look because they’re attached to certain brands and get nearly all of their clothing items at specific shops. From high-end designer labels to more affordable mid-range brands, there are so many amazing brands waiting to be discovered.

8. Accessorize, Accessorize, Accessorize

Accessories help adds diversity to your outfits and keeps you from getting bored with your look.

Even if you’ve worn a certain blazer countless times, adding a scarf will make it look like a new outfit. Aside from scarves, you can also use ties, hats, scarves, pieces of jewellery, and watches to upgrade your look.
