For a lot women , I’ve realised sorting out what to wear to work daily and really having a personal work style can be a such a hassle especially if one works in a rigid environment with strict dress codes and no form of bright color allowed .
I am absolutely not about that boring clothes and color life , and i am constantly looking for ways to introduce colours to the collection of items i wear to work without being offensive , but still true to my personal style and lifestyle.
I work in fashion and there are really no restrictions about what to wear to work but my basic suggestion is – Irrespective of where you work you can find your way around your outfits. Play with colours as subtly as your job permits , this could be achieved by adding accessories or shoes as the case may be.
In recent times i have been a little more expressive with items i wear to work and my style . Today I’m sharing with you this work style inspiration featuring this ruffled shirt by 1709thelabel paired with multicoloured pants by ZurielAfrique . Both brands are indigenous Nigerian brands pushing the fashion envelop and putting Nigeria on the map.
I finished off the look with a red structured bag by Zashadu which is another Nigerian brand by the way.
It is safe to say i have been fully inducted into the buynaijatogrowthenaira movement and I’m loving it.
HERE ARE THE PICTURE -ENJOY

Pants!!! I love ?? Even the shirt is fabulous, this is something I’d definitely rock to work, my Office allows flexible outfits!
Only that recently, I’ve become lazy with dressing fabulous to work but mere reading this has inspired me so much.
thanks debs!don’t we all become lazy sometimes especially when life happens!but looking good is forever good business!
The statement sleeves of the blouse, vibrant print of the pants and the bold Red color of the Zashadu bag are giving me life. I equally work in fashion so yes to no strict dress codes. I mostly infuse color in my outfits with my accessories but lately I have been wearing brightly colored clothing.
As for Nigerian brands, some are pocket friendly while others are not. With my current budget I’m unable to patronize many of these brands so I tend to thrift or tailor my outfits.
With time though, I’ll get there
oh ebun!thank you for stopping by.i can totally relate to the not so pocket friendly ones!but like they say as our income grow ,our taste and lifestyle follows suit . so soon you will be able to buy them .
You look amazing! My job allows me to wear colours but no one to snap lool….2017 was the year I was fully inducted to #buynigeriantogrownaira I’m a little indifferent this year?

There are speculations in my workplace on the dress code so I’m sitting on the fence with that one. However I like to infuse colors with my accessories, because no one can complain about colored accessories ! Those pants are so gorgeous by the way !
